How come in the account settings I've set it to hide my email, yet I still have a mail option under my avatar?

it allows people to send an email to you using a web based form, kinda like a PM, but it gets directed to your email the setting you are talking about means if people go to your profile tho, they wont be able to see your email address |

khem I think he means the little mail icon which is a mailto link.
del, admin's can see it and you can see it as well.
Other users and guests can't though.

I've been having some issues with 'Show unread posts since last visit' on my home pc since I formatted. Only rarely does it work, most of the time it says no new posts since last visit. I have cookies enabled, any ideas what it might be?

Just thought it'd be nice to get with the times a little more. My usage of it has started to pick up lately compared to MSN; mostly as a result of using it for my work though but I am finding it's video chat owns MSN (plus it has better emoticons lol).
It's probably been asked before but there's no chance of having a choice of forum themes is there? I'm pretty sure I've seen SMF forums with that feature before.
Speaking of SMF I think they have that 'lite version' option in there too right? Where it all comes up with no pics, colours, etc. for fast loading.
It may be useful for those getting their AM fix on small screened phones or slow connections.

there is a skype mod available. if more than a few people ask for it we might consider adding it... one of the main reasons the last forum fell over was there were too many mods, so we are trying to keep it fairly simple this time around to avoid headaches with upgrades, etc... but if enough people want it we might add it. this is also the reason why we are sticking to one theme... each time you add a mod, you need to make sure it runs on all themes and it doesnt always work. here is the link for the lite version, it has been posted a few times previously: http://www.adelaidemassive.com/index.php?wap |
