Super happy that I just offered a job with the courts, sure its only contract but beats being out of a job at the end of month like I would be if I stayed here.

Happy that an enormous bouquet of flowers was delivered to me from my boss in Melbourne! She is recognising my hard work.

Still going to ask for a payrise though.

I'm happy because i just got the mother of all surprises!

Have been asking for a payrise for a month. Went throught the GM first and when she went on holidays (stress leave as she's about to be sacked) I went straight to the CEO.
At first he gives me a 10% payrise. Under normal circumstances this is huge however I had already worked out that they were paying me 25% under the market rate. So I go back and ask again.
I get a call today with a higher than 25% payrise, an assistant AND bonuses! The best bit... I am now the General Manager - SA.
