Adelaide Massive and Digital DJ are proud to present the first edition of Local Produce - a showcase of some of the awesome local dubstep and drum and bass producers we have here in our back yard.  This mix is the local drum and bass mix, which was compiled and mixed by Khem. The dubstep mix from Counterpart should not be too far away from making an appearance. It took a bit longer than expected but I beleive it is worth the wait. There were more than 30 dnb tunes submitted for consideration, and while I was not able to include everyone in the mix, the over all quality of the music I received was quite impressive. You don't have to take my word for it, let the music speak for itself... I've got such crappy speakers on this laptop, I'm listening on my Senny bud ear phones. Roost's first one certainly gave em a workout lol, really low bass. Just up to Syme's tune, Strange Place now, it's got a real Calibre vibe to it...
Liking the big dancefloor feel of that Boom track too!

Really really really impressed with the quality of tunes here... Good work to all the DNB guys involved.... I have sent the link for this mix to the US based label that Fiction, myself and EVN are on ( One For All Records) as I think there are unsigned tunes/artists here who may fit the bill for the kind of tunes they are looking for... Cant wait to hear the dubstep mix now... Bring it on!!! jah bless

Worked fine last night.
Sweet mix Khem and I was blown away at the quality of every single tune.
TBH, I was expecting at least a tune or 2 to be of average quality.
Bigups everyone who contributed!!!
Khem, you say there were plenty of tunes that didn't make it in the mix... can we expect another in the near future with the remaining tunes???

not too sure, the plan is to do some more dj features. i am definitely keen to do another producer feature later on, but we will call for new submissions on that one. |
