Alright crew.. its confirmed.. Im gonna be runnin a show on Sunday afternoons from 2-4PM (straight before Qzyphus) on Soundpond called 'Neat Freqs'.

I expect to having regular guests and am committed to gettin DJ's on the show that dont get many opportunities to gig out as I know there is a heap of ya! 

It starts on Sunday 13th June!! More details to come soon!

One thing I wont do is lock the show only on DnB as I lovin heaps of genres atm, however DnB is still my passion!

Adelaide has some truly talented names in house music. On Monday 5th July we celebrate this as we invite Will Jax & The House Inspectors to join us for the Pond Jam. Expect upfront sounds and possibly a handful on unreleased new productions from these top-notch local producers and DJs.

With a passion for house music that spurred from an appreciation of disco and funk, Will Jax knew that one day he would be producing as well. Starting out DJ’ing in a number of pubs / clubs around Adelaide he wasn’t satisfied with what he was playing and wanted to try and push house music to the people. It wasn’t until he was given a set at a TechPhonics event and being able to play with one of the greatest, James Curd, that he realised that house music was more than just music.

Having played in many of Adelaide’s premier night spots as well as guest spots interstate, Will Jax is known for his funky / jackin sets of quality underground house. Having a dream of producing house music was something that any house DJ would aspire to and it wasn’t long before Will Jax was thinking the same.

With a lot of persistence he has been able to get releases out on numerous labels including Shak Digital, Juiced! Music, Greenhouse Recordings, Funkfield, HuHu Music and Sly City with many more in the works. Make sure you keep an eye out for Will Jax as there are great things to come.

Will currently hosts an internet based radio show, 'The Warehouse' on Soundpond.net every Thursday from 10pm to 12am.

Hailing from Adelaide, South Australia, Househeads Luke & Dan aka “The House Inspectors” are starting to make their mark on the global house music scene. Having a live musical background and dabbling with production at a young age, they have hit the ground running, establishing themselves as one of Australia’s “hot to trot”, in demand dj’s/producers/remixers. In a short space of time they have supported the likes of Joshua Heath and Bryan Jones. Their signature sound of organic deep, soulful, jazzy, jackin house is one of high demand, and is what you can expect from them in their high quality live dj sets.

As producers, this dynamic duo are renowned for their original songwriting and soulful bumpy sound, incorporating live vocal cuts to their jams. In yet another exciting move for Soundpond, this Monday's Pond Jam (19th July) sees a live band join us for the very first time.

Melbourne's BACKYARD JOB are a 2 piece live dubstep band. With a set up consisting of guitar, vocals, beats, bass, live wobble and Ableton Live, about 80% of Backyard Job's live show is completely improvised. The guys are hard at work on their first album but have found the time to nip down to Adelaide to play for us.

Also joining us for a cross-genre night of heavy beats and basslines are Adelaide lads PATCH and DESH as well as Soundpond residents SKIPPY, QZYPHUS and DIRTY ROHAN.

If you can't wait to see the guys in action, Backyard Job also play Subsects at HQ this Friday (16th July)

The government blocks Soundpond over here! Whatever host they use to stream must have been used by the UDD for anti-government stuff at some stage or at least they think it could be.

It's for certain now, I used to get a blank white screen before but now I get the Thai script blocked page posted by the government for blocked stuff.

There used to be no problem with this stuff until the red shirts came along and now it looks like they are stopping anything that can be used to stream video or audio to cut the propaganda network down.

nope DnB still holds the record at ~1861 viewers so we're still safe

Bringing his techno-stylings to the pond this week is one of the brains behind Adelaide's famous Enchanted parties, Devious, followed by James Corbett spinning his distinctive blend of "Dirty N Tuff" sounds.

Providing ...the support on the night will be a handful of the ponds resident young guns Uberjak'd, Rubberteeth and Mebbo.

Okay I have finally managed to get ANZAC in for his soundpond debut... 
ANZAC has been rocking the dancefloors around Adelaide for many years and has held and still
holds some key Adelaide venue residencies..  His sound now takes in dubstep and grime and other bassline flavas with a mashup of hip-hop, dnb, breaks, funk and other forms of electronic dance music...

I personally am really looking forward to this show... There have been some great sets so far on
Late Night Lurking but I think this will be a highlight close to rival Fiction's 93/94 Jungle Rinseout a few weeks back...

Lock it in from Midnight this Tues 3rd August..  Dont snooze on this show...
